Now is the Time to Upgrade
Deadlines have been set for some machines to be brought up to code. For example, the Power Press Code, CSA Z142-02, calls for an upgrade plan to be developed and implemented such that existing equipment is brought into compliance within two years of the release of the standard. Since that date of December 2004 has come and passed, due diligence requires that these machines need to be upgraded as soon as possible. In the interests of operator safety, all machinery should operate at the safety standards required by law.
